Burris-Carson
Courtney Burris and Murray Carson were married Nov. 15, 2008, at Southland Baptist Church with Pastor Lakan Mariano officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Karen Burris and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Burris. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Carson.
Matrons of honor were Ashley Nelson of Pampa and Lindsey Jost of Lubbock.
Bridesmaids were Cali Foreman of San Antonio, Ashley Foreman of Victoria, Casey Carson of Fort Worth, Katelyn Baker and Chesney Baker. Flower girl was Haylee Nelson of Pampa.
Best men were Jon Anderson and Danny McPherson. Groomsmen were Jamin Burke of Weatherford, Chris Fiocchi of Fort Worth and Russell Massey of San Angelo.
Ring bearers were Hayden Jost of Lubbock, Keegan McPherson and Jayden Gesch.
Ushers were Greg Dick and Geoffrey Dick, both of Trophy Club, Daniel Bledsoe of Denton and Scott Head.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of San Angelo Lake View High School. She is employed by Glazer's Wholesale Company.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of San Angelo Central High School.
He is employed by Angelo Glass & Mirror.
After a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, the couple will live in San Angelo.
Mr. and Mrs. Derek Halfmann
Kubena-Halfmann
LAS VEGAS - Kelly Kubena and Derek Halfmann, both of Austin, were married Nov. 15, 2008, in the Flamingo Las Vegas Garden Gazebo.
The bride is the daughter of Brenda and Larry Kubena of Driftwood.
The bridegroom is the son of Marsha and Charlie Halfmann of San Angelo.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Bowie High School in Austin and received a bachelor's degree in 2005 from Texas State University.
The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of San Angelo Central High School and received a bachelor's degree in 1999 from Angelo State University.
He is employed by the Austin School of Music.
After wedding trips to San Diego and Coronado Island, Calif., the couple will live in Austin.

- Share what you know. Give us your eyewitness accounts, background, observations and history. You are our eyes and ears in the Concho Valley.
- Ask questions. What more do you want to know about the story? We can then forward your question to the appropriate person and have them give you a response.
- Help us get it right. If you find a factual error or misspelling within one of our stories, email webmaster@gosanangelo.com before slamming the writer and newspaper.
